Travels

Since the end of March, until the end of July, I have had a place to go.
Each month I’ve packed a suitcase going from Austin, to Pittsburgh, to Chicago, to Fort Myers, Florida, to Tampa/St.Petersburg, Florida, to DC, to Philadelphia.
While it was all fun and exciting I realized one thing, I would not want a job where I had to travel all of the time. I hate dealing with airport security, train delays, the public, traffic, lack of air conditioning, stale hotel rooms and eating out for every meal.
What I do like about traveling is sitting at a bar of a new city by myself, talking with the bartenders or the person sitting next to me, seeing my family, exploring by foot, starting and finishing books within a couple of days rather than weeks, people watching, and watching the land fly by.
I am so happy to know that I don’t have another trip coming up any time soon and to know I get to come home everyday to this:
