Lets do something.
Sunday, Des and I took a random road trip to DC. First, we checked out 2 Amy’s for some delicious pizza. Then off to the museums and the first stop was the National Museum of Natural History. I haven’t been to that museum in about 15 years and it was awesome to revisit the dinosaurs, the Hope Diamond, and the other various exhibits. We headed over to the National Archives and the only thing we saw was the Magna Carta since we didn’t feel like waiting in line to see the Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc. The last stop of our day which took up the most time was the National Gallery of Art. Love love love that museum and I can’t wait to go back! This day trip reminded us of how easy it is to do something different on a Sunday and take advantage of how close we are to such amazing places as DC. More to come.
